How do I get emergency orthodontic care?
Broken brackets and loose wires can be both painful to experience and stressful to handle. Don’t worry – our talented team will do what we can to see you the very same day. In fact, we have early morning, lunchtime, and afternoon hours available throughout the week!
If you do break your braces or experience another orthodontic emergency, then the best thing to do is give our office a call. From there, one of our knowledgeable team members can ask a few questions to learn more about your situation and take a look at our schedule to pinpoint a time for you to come in.
Note: if your orthodontic emergency is accompanied by a potentially life-threatening symptom (like the inability to breathe or difficulty swallowing), then call 911 or head to your nearest ER.
What do you do if you can't afford an orthodontist?
If you think that orthodontic treatment is “too expensive,” then we encourage you to give our team a call. While high-quality, personalized care is always our priority first and foremost, we’re proud to also offer financial solutions to help keep your out-of-pocket expenses to a minimum. That starts with dental insurance. In addition to welcoming a wide range of providers, we’re in-network with several as well, including BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna, Delta Dental, Cigna, and more. Don’t have dental insurance? Don’t worry – we also offer flexible financing.
How can I find a female orthodontist?
If you’d prefer to visit a female orthodontist, then you can of course ask your friends and family for recommendations. You might find it quicker, however, to turn to Google. By typing “female orthodontist near me” into the search bar, you’ll find a list of nearby providers that fit this specification.
Our team at Hanson Orthodontics of Allen is proud to have an exceptional orthodontist, Dr. Megan Hanson. She is highly trained, incredibly passionate, and would love to help you achieve the beautiful smile you deserve!
